Kids' games CD's slowing down computer. Help?

I have my nephews 2 days a week. They like video games, so I got them Bookworm, Bejeweled, Sponge Bob Collapse, and Zuma. (They're little kids; I won't get them games). But when I installed them on my computer, they slowed it down to a slo-mo crawl. Is there any way the kids can play the games just by putting in the CD's without my having to install/uninstall every week? I have a lot of stuff on this computer that I need to keep and I'm not prepared to buy a new one just now. Any suggestions? I'm not extremely literate about this sort of thing, so talk to me like I'm 6. Thanks, all.
